20 Teams Registered So Far / 10 Spots Remaining

KEARNEY, Neb. (March 4, 2024) – Ballfields in Kearney, namely Patriot and Harvey Parks, will be bustling the weekend of April 27-28 as girls fastpitch softball teams from around the region battle it out for gold and silver medals in six divisions in the second-annual Nebraska DiamondFest.

The Nebraska Sports Council is producing the event with assistance from presenting sponsor Kearney Visitors Bureau and community partners including Kearney Parks and Recreation and the Kearney Competitive Girls Softball Association. Other local contributors include Younes Hospitality, Angus Burgers & Shakes, AKRS, the Nebraska State Fair and the Nebraska Highway Safety Office.

Teams from 15 different Nebraska towns from North Platte to Norfolk are already registered. Divisions include 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U. Information and online registration are available under the Nebraska DiamondFest tab at NebraskaSportsCouncil.com. The final deadline to register is April 17.
