EVENT: Men Slow Pitch Softball

AWARDS: Cash payouts for 1st place in Gold, Silver, and Bronze brackets. $1,800 paid out across three divisions. $1,000 payout for 1st place in Gold, $500 payout for 1st place in Silver, and $300 payout for 1st place in Bronze.

WEATHER/SCHEDULE UPDATES: Schedule changes will be posted on the 402 Bash Facebook Page and updated as needed on Register Play.

Cancellation Policy:
1. No games played due to inclement weather results in full refund minus $75 administration fee.
2. One or more games played results in no refund.
3. After entry deadline results in no refund.

ADMISSION: Admission will be charged daily. Sandhills Global Youth Complex is a cashless facility.

RULES

All teams must provide umpires with an approved ball prior to the start of each game. All divisions will play with the USA Softball approved 12″ yellow optic red stitched ball with core of .52 and compression of .300 lbs. USA Softball rules will apply with the following home run limits:

Men Home Run Limit: 2 home runs. Home runs hit by a player who has a home run band does not count towards this total. Two home run bands allowed per team for $20 each. Home run bands cannot be passed to another player.

COMPETITION FORMAT

All teams guaranteed three games with 2 pool play games and a single elimination bracket. Teams will play 2 pool play games from their pool with teams being distributed by ranking to Gold, Silver and Bronze brackets for a single elimination bracket tournament. Ranking will be by record, if a tie then by head to head, then run differential. Teams may play Friday if needed. All teams will play Saturday and Sunday.

The directors reserve the right to reclassify teams as needed and may combine events depending on the number of entries. All teams will be notified if changes are made.

MINIMUM ROSTER SIZE: Nine players. If registering online, the minimum roster size must be entered to advance to check-out.

MAXIMUM ROSTER SIZE: 20 players.

Teams can make roster updates online.

The deadline to make roster updates is 5 p.m. on FRIDAY, AUGUST 21. Rosters are considered FINAL after that date.

Roster additions after August 21 WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

NOTE: Rosters WILL be checked during the tournament. Please make sure your roster is current prior to the August 21 deadline.

TEAM WAIVER: The team waiver form must be signed by each team member, or by parent/guardian if the participant is 18 years or younger. If the team is registered online, and the online waiver for each player is clicked as ‘Accepted’, no printed/signed waiver is needed. All team waivers must be clicked as ‘Accepted’ or submitted to the Nebraska Sports Council office by AUGUST 21 to be eligible for competition.
