LINCOLN, Neb. (April 16, 2025) — The Nebraska Sports Council is reminding participants to register for the Cornhusker State Games on or before April 23 to capitalize on the lowest entry fees available. For more information and to get registered, visit CornhuskerStateGames.com.
The 41st annual Games will kick off with Opening Night on July 10, 2025. Competition in over 70 sports will run from July 10-20, spanning over 50 venues across Omaha, Lincoln and several other Nebraska communities. More than 8,000 are expected to participate.
All registered participants will have access to digital coupons provided by event sponsors. Offers will include a variety of deals and promotions available throughout the summer.
The Cornhusker State Games is conducted by the Nebraska Sports Council, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with a mission of providing quality competition for amateur athletes of all ages and abilities and promoting healthy and active lifestyle choices. The Games are funded primarily through sponsorships from more than 100 Nebraska businesses, including platinum partners: Farmer’s Mutual of Nebraska, Pepsi-Cola of Lincoln, Nebraska Orthopaedic Center and Grand Island Tourism.
