KEARNEY, Neb. (May 5, 2025) – The Nebraska Sports Council (NSC) will host its second event of the 2025 season with the Nebraska DiamondFest fastpitch softball tournament, set for May 10-11 at Patriot Park and Harvey Park in Kearney.

A record 40 teams are scheduled to compete in the third annual event. Nine Nebraska towns will be represented in the field, joined by a team from Windsor, Colorado.

The tournament features five age divisions: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and High School. The 8U and High School divisions will play a one-day tournament on Saturday, May 10.

Teams will compete in a pool play round, before moving to a single elimination tournament bracket.

Nebraska DiamondFest is organized by the Nebraska Sports Council with support from presenting sponsor Visit Kearney, as well as Kearney Parks and Recreation and the Kearney Competitive Girls Softball Association.
