KEARNEY, Neb. (April 29, 2025) – The third annual Nebraska DiamondFest fastpitch softball tournament is set for May 10-11 at Patriot Park and Harvey Park in Kearney. A record-breaking 40 teams are currently registered, with just three spots remaining.
The tournament features five age divisions: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and High School. The 8U division will play a one-day tournament on Saturday, May 10.
Teams from nine Nebraska towns are set to compete, along with one from Windsor, Colo.
One spot remains in the 10U division and two in the High School division. The deadline to register is Wednesday, April 30 at 11:59 p.m.
Tournament updates, including weather alerts and photo coverage, will be shared on the Nebraska DiamondFest Facebook page.
Nebraska DiamondFest is organized by the Nebraska Sports Council with support from presenting sponsor Visit Kearney, as well as Kearney Parks and Recreation and the Kearney Competitive Girls Softball Association.
