KEARNEY, Neb. (May 13, 2025) – Five teams took home titles at the 2025 Nebraska DiamondFest fastpitch softball tournament last weekend in Kearney. The 8U and High School divisions competed in a single-day tournament on Saturday May 10, while the 10U, 12U and 14U divisions played in a two-day format that concluded on Sunday, May 11.

Hastings Bombers 8U Blue claimed the tournament’s first championship, capping a 3-0 weekend with a 14-8 victory over St. Paul Gold in the title game.

Force Softball 2025 secured the High School division title with a 4-1 win over Stingers 18U – Fink.

In the 10U division, CNSA Fast Pack 10U edged Hastings Bombers 10U in a tight 5-3 final. CNSA finished the weekend with a perfect 5-0 record, allowing only eight runs across all games.

Kelly’s Fastpitch 12U-Carpenter topped the 12U standings, with Kearney Dynamite Broekemeier finishing as runner-up. The two teams met in pool play and ended in a 4-4 tie, but Kelly’s secured the title with an 8-2 win in the championship game.

In the 14U division, York Fusion 14U and DMilaco 14U advanced to the final with narrow semifinal wins, 2-1 and 6-5, respectively. York Fusion then posted a shutout in the title game, defeating DMilaco 6-0.

Nebraska DiamondFest is set to return in 2026, with additional details to be announced at a later date.
